Not Showing Sleep Scores in the Fitbit app

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

A few weeks ago a new area in the sleep log had an place for Sleep Scores. I found where to turn on this feature and have turned it on but for two weeks it shows the score category but never actually posts a score. Is there something I need to do for my scores to start posting?

I tried everything, like having the official strap slightly loose, very tight, third party metal/magnetic band, right/left wrist, log out log in etc, still totally random and unreliable. Like I can get sleep scores 7 nights in one week and suddenly only once in 2 weeks. 🙄

Exactly, we are paying good money for premium for nothing.

I tried that once 3 months ago, it was so sensitive that my fitbit charge 4 claimed I was awake most of the night and that I had only slept for 3 hours, which was totally not true, and with no sleep score. The thing is that it's not that I'm not getting sleep score, it's more like it's total random, one night I get it, most nights I don't, which makes it totally useless.

Did you try to reboot the device?

Hi there,

I know I am a little late and most of them either must’ve fixed their issues or given up on it. But I thought I’ll post anyway if it helps the new users and passerby’s.
So I had exactly the same issue - Fitbit tracker (my watch) tracked the sleep score on the night of day 1 so well and the second night went all quite. There was no sleep score anywhere, just the restlessness and so on info displayed. I did realise that I had manually selected to say the phone app that I am off to sleep.
so I did not do anything on the third night, just slept, but did fasten the strap a little and had a good nights sleep.

the next day morning - tada! The sleep score was back on my phone but not yet on the watch. I did a soft reset of the watch by pressing the side button for 15mins. Once restarted, everything was back to normal. Fourth night sleep and so on, I’m getting the stats I’d like to see.
hope this helps.
~don’t manually tell phone app you’re sleepin

~soft reset your watch atleast once

~do enable always sync

I think you are absolutely right. Manually telling the app you’re going to sleep and when you wake up stops you from getting the sleep score. The question is, why would they put in such a useless manual function? They should just remove it or at least warn us about it. 🤬

Hi

Got rid of it. Gave to friend and bought the Active 2.

Much better and has gps.

Hello, I cannot see sleep log on the watch. I have sense. I can see log in app, but not on the watch. I restarted the watch, app and nothing helped. Cheers  🙂

I am just getting started and have the same issue. Also, I've discovered all kinds of wierd quirky things with this app. I hope they come up with some fixes, this is frustrating. I have a Samsung Galaxy.

I have the same problem with the sleepscore and this restart method does not help!

When will this be resolved? Its been a few years now!

I've had the same problem for just as long.

For a while, a notice would be displayed on my app, indicating that the
sleep score was only available if one subscribed to their premium service.

The support people I've communicated with and that have left comments in
this message chain say that sleep score is available to everyone.

Seeing as you're now having the problem that many other people and I have
and continue to have, and probably don't subscribe to premium service,
indicates their admonitions are not true.

My problem is resolved. I reset the fitbit and the problem resolved itself. I may have had to update the software as well.

I tried using it without turning activating the sleep now button, the score
is tracked.

I think this is a bug that needs to be fixed.

Please do something about it.

I’m not able to post another topic about the sleep score nor working. I received the Versa3, three days ago. The sleep score worked for two nights and third night no longer gives me a score. What do I do?

Best Answer

Same as all the rest..........sleep score decided to not appear, first 4 days then last night none. Already signed out and back in several times. Very disappointing. Started off amazing but looks like it’s going to suck.

I don’t see any resolution being made in the comments or “answers”.

I am having the same problem. It recorded it yesterday but not today. I have logged out and in like you suggested, synced several times and it’s logging the basic data but not the in depth data. I have already took one Fitbit back the shop because it didn’t seem to be logging data properly and I thought it was a fault.

So, being new to FitbIt what is the fix for obtaining the sleep scores.  Was working for first week, then every other day, now no scores for the past three days.  Perhaps if a Moderator addressed a "how to" set the sleep score and then receive the score, that would help those in need of this information.

Thanks for any help.

My advice is, just sync your device to Fitbit premium before going to bed and DO NOT press ‘begin sleep now.  Just wear your device and go to bed, Fitbit premium will automatically sync everything in the morning when you get up and give you your sleep score.

You’re welcome, it took me months to figure that out, accidentally. 😘

Me too.   I use the sleep score because I have a cpap and that score is very helpful to me.  Got device for Christmas and worked great but 3 days ago I started seeing sleep info but no score.    Is there an option somewhere that I turned off the sleep score?

Hi,

I didn't turn on the sleep now button manually, just wore it to sleep and
the sleep scores updates itself after a few refreshes in the morning.

You might want to get the sp02 clock face to help track your sleep oxygen.

Sometimes it can take awhile to update. Usually it works after a few
refreshes.

Hope this helps 🙂
