Not counting all steps

Hi Everyone, my App on a Samsung Tab E is not counting all of my steps. The trackers says that I have walked over 10,000 steps today, but the app registers only just over 9000. I have restarted both the tracker and tablet (and resynced) but this has not solved the issue. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I am not sure how that is happening, @Dloveland, since your Samsung only get the information from the Fitbit server after your tracker is synced.  After your tracker completes the sync process, all of the stats on the tracker and the dashboard should be identical. Is your Samsung able to complete the sync process with your tracker?

Thanks for your reply. The tracker and the tablet appear to sync completely, and most of the data is accurate, with the exception of the steps. I also have a fit bit one connected to the same account, which I only use at night. Could this be an Issue?

Best Regards for the New Year!

@Dloveland, having both the Charge 2 and the One on the same account should not be a problem as long as you sync both of them when you switch from one to the other.  For example, if I am switching from my Charge 2 to my Charge HR, I sync the Charge 2 to get all of the current data updated on the Fitbit Server, and then I sync the Charge HR to update the data on it from the server.  At that point in time, both trackers show the same data - then the Charge HR is worn and starts updating with the new movement.
