@Malilvn Welcome! It's nice to have you on board! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your device not getting text messages. Try refreshing the link between your phone and your device by doing the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.
  • You can find notification troubleshoots here.

Let me know how it goes.

Hi there @Malilvn, thanks for getting back and letting us know the outcome of the steps recommended.

While reading your post I was wondering if the mobile device you're syncing with is included in our list of supported devices? You can see the list at: Which phones and tablets can I use with my Fitbit watch or tracker?

Please keep in mind that when a device is not supported we cannot guarantee its functionality with the Fitbit app. It might work at a certain time and then it can stop working out of nowhere after an update. This is because the app is not optimized to that device and any change could impact the performance.

In regards to the screen, are you getting a blank or corrupted screen? If the restart didn't fix the display, please check on the Fitbit app if your Charge 3 is still syncing. If so, change the clock face to a different one to see if this brings back the display. Don't worry if you cannot see anything on the display by now, this process is done through the Fitbit app.

About the battery not lasting, see the recommendations in the help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Give this a go and let me know the outcome, I'll be around and glad to create a support case on your behalf if necessary.
