@TheFiend   What model Fitbit do you use?  I think there is an issue with floor badges and the Pixel Watch, maybe also the PW2.

Hi @TheFiend

Charge 6 doesn't have an altimeter so won't measure floors. Additionally, the range of badges is very limited - once you have the 20k steps per day it's pretty hard to get another daily step badge. Realistically I can only work my way through the lifetime km badges which is pretty unengaging.

The weight loss badges are not relevant to me. Other devices offer all sorts of fun badges on a more regular basis which make you smile and put a spring in your step. Why not Fitbit?

Indeed, I have the Pixel Watch 2.

Can I send in screenshot so that the badges will get activated manually by Support?

The app is recording all floors I walk up, so the issue isn't the watch reporting the floors. It's the app taking that data and then not attributing badges.

I should have the Lighthouse (I have 53 floors in a day) and Skydiver (1271 floors total so far) badges already but nothing.

Hi everyone! @LZeeW Thanks for your help.

@TheFiend and @animald Thanks for the detailed information. As our friend mentioned, currently we have an issue with the badges not being awarded to our Pixel Watch members. I understand how frustrating this can be and I'm sorry for the inconvenience. While we don't have a time frame for the fix, we'll keep working and keeping our team informed of this impact.

@Goldsgirl Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. I also agree with you about feeling more motivated when receiving a badge. Our development team is constantly working to improve our products, and the input from our members is a big part of the process. With this in mind, I'd suggest supporting this idea by adding your vote so our developers can keep tracking this request over time.

Will this ever get fixed? I've had the exact same problem ever since getting a Fitbit. Started with the pixel watch. Same issue with pixel watch 2

I've had the Pixel Watch 1 for over 18 months and despite the Fitbit app showing all the floors I've climbed, I have 0 related climb badges.

Very poor service and this question is flagged as answered?

Google refer all questions about this on the Pixel Watch forums to the Fitbit "specialized team that is trained to handle health information and troubleshoot medical device issues" in this forum, so what's happening about this?

If you can't get it to give the badges on the watch for some reason, how about running a daily job to process the floors climbed on your servers and add the badges there? Ideally retrospectively to cover the many months of ignored floor climbing data you currently have.

This doesn't seem like a problem that should take 18 months+ to fix, as you're already giving other badges and recording the floor count.

Totally agree, In fact I'm extremely disappointed with this to the point I'll never buy  a Google phone or watch again.
