Not receiving notifications on Versa with OnePlus 6

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have been facing this problem for over a year on my OnePlus 6 and Fitbit Versa. I have troubleshoot multiple times and I'm frustrated with having to delete data and relogin each time it happens. The frequency has also increased to less than a day now. Please find a permanent fix.

Hello @Yazhini, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some troubleshooting steps before to posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps. Also, make sure that power management is off for the Fitbit app.

Keep me posted.

I got Versa 2 yesterday but can't get notifications to work (the main reason I bought!). Notifications first worked when I downloaded the app, but stopped after an hour or so. I uninstalled the app and downloaded again and notifications worked for another hour or so. I have completed all the troubleshooting steps multiple times but cannot get the notifications to work for longer than an hour. Surely there is a better solution than just uninstalling the app every hour!!

I have read several other threads on here and it seems that everyone is having the same problem with Versa 2 and android devices, seemingly because of Android updates. Surely Fitbit should be able to keep their devices up to date? I would have bought a much cheaper pedometer to count my steps, as this is all the Versa 2 is good for currently!

Please help!!!

Welcome aboard @CiaraSinclair.

Thanks for your post and for the feedback that was shared, if I was in your position I'll be frustrated too. To better assist you with this, can you please confirm which mobile device are you using? Are you using the OnePlus 6 or another one? Can you please confirm that the steps from my previous post were already tried? Such steps are different than just uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app. Also, please make sure that power management is off for the Fitbit app as stated in my previous post.

I'll be around, let me know if you have any additional questions.
