I have a Huawei p30 pro phone and whenever the fitbit app upgrades itself my fit bit versa 2 stops receiving notifications why is this happening

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this, could you please let me know if you're not receiving text and phone call notifications or just one of them? I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps.
