Hi @stevenjewell12, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post. Let me share with you that the Samsung Galaxy A9 is not currently listed as a compatible device with our products and services, therefore, you may experience certain connection difficulties with it. I'm aware that some users are able to use non-compatible devices with our Fitbit products, however, we cannot ensure a proper function of all its features due to this compatibility concern, Android and Fitbit app updates.

Even though your mobile device is not compatible, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.

If by any chance you're still unable to receive notifications on your Fitbit with your mobile device, I suggest you to try with a compatible device instead.

I'll be here if you need anything else, please keep me posted.

You're welcome @stevenjewell12, your reply is appreciated. Sorry for the delayed response.

It's fine to use a pacemaker and a Fitbit device, just take in consideration that we do not recommend our users to compare such information because both devices use different algorithms to track data. Also, keep in mind that Fitbit products are not considered medical devices as well.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.
