You're welcome @Pitpat4981, your reply is also appreciated.
Thanks for trying the suggested troubleshooting steps. Let me share with you that we are constantly working and testing different mobile devices to make sure that they work as intended with our products and services. At this moment I'm unable to let you know when or if the Samsung Galaxy S20 will be added to our list of compatible devices, however, my best advice for you will be to constantly check our list of compatible devices for any update.
To further investigate the notifications issue you're experiencing, please send me a screenshot of the notification settings of the Fitbit app from the Messages app to verify that all the settings to receive notifications on your Charge 2 are correctly configured.
Don't hesitate to ask me any additional questions, I'll be around.

Best Answermake sure fit bit app is updated...next open fit bit app click on profile picture to the top left....next look for the devices section and click on your fitbit...once this screen shows look for the section General and click on notifications....this will either prompt your android device to ask for permissions for your fitbit to use certain things on your phone or you will need to click on text phone calls emails etc. and set the notification type you'd like!
Thanks jjEyy! I upgraded from a Samsung S10 to a Samsung S20+ 5G and could not get messages sent to my Charge 3. I had gone through all the other trouble-shooting steps but none of them worked. Your directions showed my Fitbit APP already had these settings on but for some reason just going in there seemed to "reactive" them and I finally received a text message on my Charge 3.
I have the Samsung S20 plus and I get calls, notifications, and text messages.
You cold try cleaning cache in the fitbit app in your phones app settings, then Uninstalling the app.Turn off bluetooth, reboot phone. Reinstall app, making sure in the phone's app settings that the fitbit app has all permissions. Reinstall your device in the fitbit app. Be sure to follow all the prompts.Be sure sense controls are connected. Click on the choose your assistance to choose Google or Alexa.

I have a S20 FE.
A few steps were different because I just updated the fitbit software but it was basically the same as what you listed.
Once you click the profile picture, your device is already listed. After clicking your device, click notifications and then turn on the options that you want notifications for.
Thanks again!
