Not syncing with texts only

My daughter has a Fitbit HR and a Droid maxx. Her Fitbit will vibrate and notify for phone calls but not texts. The text notification is on in her Fitbit app. We have tried resetting the Fitbit, forgetting it on her phones Bluetooth, sending a test call (which works), turning the text notifications off then on on the app, and nothing has worked. What else can we do?!

@Montegal9 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that your daughter isn't getting text notifications and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. You can try going to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there. Restart your phone and restart your device. After this try syncing them. Also, if you are using an Android device, check that your app has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions) and make sure bluetooth and location services (GPS) are on.

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately, we tried all of that and it still won’t show the texts.

We unpaired it from Bluetooth, restarted both, checked permissions (which it had GPS and Bluetooth permissions as well as receiving call and texts permissions). It still won’t show texts.
