Hey,

I have a fitbit ionic and the notification services are not working, it always asks me to reboot my phone. I use an android phone and have multiple times reinstalled the fitbit app.

It's becoming annoying now, please help.

But have you rebooted your phone, this is what worked for me.

Also check your notifications. Tap the three dots in top right.

Sorry @Tarun23 I only asked because their was nothing mentioned about a phone reboot, only many app reinstalls.

Have you turned off power management for the Fitbit app? Allow the Fitbit app to run in background?

I can't tell you how many times I've read, No, I should not have to restart the phone, or I don't think it would work.

Can you please guide me? How to do that.

Not sure what your asking about @Tarun23

It is explained in the help docs.

Check your settings

How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
Here is Android specific including power management.

Apart from running app in the background all other settings were intact, lets hope it works.

Will get back to you, if it fails again

Thank you very much.
