1. Go to fitbit app
2. Click on accou t in top left corner
3. Click on the device name
4. Scroll down to notifications
5. Click on text messages
6. Choose message+ if you receive your text messages through message+. Which i assume most people do. You should be able to receive text messages on your inspireHR!

Just curious on if there are any updated news on this text notification issue for the charge 3. The issue is the charge 3 is not receiving any text notifications from an Andriod phone, even after going through all the steps to fix the issue. Just wondering. Thank you!

My devices: Versa 2 and Samsung Galaxy s10e
fitbit could you at least check your code? can you contact Samsung and work with them to fix this problem?
I have tried everything and the only thing it worked for me was:
open the messages app (Samsung) > tap the 3 dots on the upper-right corner > settings > notifications > in-app notification settings > turn-off new messages.
NOTE: you will get the notification in your watch but you will not see the content and therefore you will not be able to reply from the watch. Also, you wont see the preview content in the notification bar in your smartphone.
I like the Samsung app, so what is the point of downloading a new messaging app?

The only thing that has worked for me was to download Google Messages and make it my default messaging app. Notifications come through on my Versa 2 now. I did this before when there was an update and messages suddenly stopped working. I used Textra that time until the issue was resolved. I initially downloaded Textra again this time, but it didn't work.

My phone is Samsung s10e. It was working fine until this most recent update. Now I don't receive any of my notification as I did before the update. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I have also logged out of the app and signed back in. My versa 2 will not stay synced with my phone even with the always connected option on. I have sent a test call to the versa2 and it most of the time works but again since the watch does not stay synced with the phone this can effect it.

I have Versa 2 connected to Huawei P30 Pro. Tje notifications (except a phone call) wasn't working after I updated to Android 10, but somehow this morning it's just suddenly working again. I just suddenly received WhatsApp message on my watch just few minutes ago. I'm really surprised as I didn't do any changes at all. Maybe fitbit has fixed it? 🤔

I have the same problem with my Charge 3 and Samsung Galaxy S10+. I have worked with Fitbit and tried all of the troubleshooting ideas. I get calendar notifications and call notifications but not text messages. It's very frustrating. I upgraded from the Alta to the Charge 3 less than six months ago. Had I known this was going to be an issue I would have purchased an actual smart watch. Hopefully this issue is fixed soon!

Same here with my versa.lite. I get all notifications but texts....that is the main reason why I got it.

Tried talking to support and they blamed it on my Note 10+ saying it isn't compatible. Refused to acknowledge that there is an issue at all with Android 10

I'm having the same issue. I change the settings to Facebook messenger and I get the notifications. But if I change it to text messages it doesn't work. I have the fitbit versa
