Fitbit Update: 1/15/2020

 

Hello, Android users!

 

We've been seeing a lot of you that recently have upgraded to Android OS 10 report that you're now having difficulty receiving notifications to your Fitbit watches. 

 

I've merged many posts together and we've escalated the issue to our developers to investigate.

I have a flex  2 and i can get the calls just not the text messages. No matter what I do it does not seem to work. When I first upgrades to Samsing S10 it worked fine then after the update it just stopped.  My partner just upgrade to the S10+ and so far his is still working after the update.

I have the Samsung Galaxy s10+
It is suppose to be compatible.

And yet it literally just stopped syncing.

I have looked into what phones should be compatible lets see if I can  paste my screenshot....

Nope I can not.  If you go to fit but and in the search bar type in compatible phones you can find the list under android for which phones are compatible.  Hope this helps our case.  My friend started to call Fitbit

It says my phone is compatible.
And was working fine til Jan 6, 2020.

I went from an I phone 10 as to a Samsung galaxy 10s and I can't get texts or fb messages to come on my Fitbit 2 versa??? I've done everything I know to do

I have called in a few times now and  I was told they are working on it with no ETA. They don't seem to care that the Versa and Versa 2 aren't working unless you force stop and turn blue tooth on and off (what I was told I needed to do to make it sync) They said it is known problem and will get fixed.

I have a galaxy s10 and with the recent update, I am no longer getting my text messages.  I have tried everything that was listed for trouble shooting.  I am getting calls and other notifications.

I am only getting Fitbit notifications and messenger on Facebook. I hope
there is a new update for Fitbit that fixes this issue. I am about to use
my expensive Micheal kors smart watch that I only used afew months ago and
decided to go back to Fitbit. I really like Fitbit but I'm dissatisfied

Update.  I called into Fitbit today and got a case number started for this problem.  They stated that their IT department is trying to remedy a update for this problem.  My opinion is even though it's a little bit time consuming to do so.  You all should call into Fitbit and start your own complaint case.  Maybe with enough cases open with this problem they will look into this being a higher priority problem since this is affecting so many users and get a working patch quicker.

Hi Guys,

Currently only GMAIL is supported for email notifications on versa 2. I use samsung email app on s10 for all work emails so really want that app to be added so i can get email notifications.
