Samsung OS has nothing to do with Fitbit not pushing a "low battery" email.
"Notifications" is a separate topic. If my email account doesn't have an
email then it is a Fitbit issue. And, yes, I looked in Spam.

For me, inspire hr with huawei p30 pro running default text app (which is the Google one) I found that clearing the fitbit app cache and forcing app to stop would revive notifications on the fitbit albeit temporarily. However, I have not now had any further problems but I have not had an update to the fitbit app or the text app so I am baffled as to what or why notifications were so flakey for a period of around 10 day. Oh well fingers crossed 🤞

It's a messaging service, that I personally like better than the factory messenger, because its private and doesn't allow third parties to view your messages (unless you give it permission)

I just updated my versa and got my Hope up thinking it was finally going to work, but it doesn't. Still. This is sooooo frustrating. I didnt buy this Fitbit to have it off and at home!

I have deleted, rebooted, restarted my phone, turned bluetooth on and off, charged completely and reconnected my charge 3. I get intermittent text message notifications, email, calls, vicemergency and the kids school app notifications. Text is my big one that I miss. I've had a fit bit for about 3 years and this is the first issue I've had.

I switched to google messages just to see because some users said that was working.. it worked for a couple of hours, but then everything else started messing up, and now im back to not receiving text notifications, so its not worth the headache to try that work around.
I tagged @Fitbit on Facebook the other day in a comment about being unhappy with this situation, and they basically came back with the same thing they have said on here.. that its being worked on.. sigh..
Lets everybody start actually tagging @Fitbit on every post so that they get inundated with our complaints about this issue.. maybe then they will actually start responding and do something about this problem..
They do not see or pay attention to our comments unless they are tagged!

I am trying to help you fix this issue, but I can't get it to not work for me.
I am using a Samsung S10 with Android 10 and the text notifications are sent to the tracker.
The fact that it works on my end, suggest that somehow when the os got updated, something in Fitbit app got broken and it fails to properly parse that notification. Perhaps the database got corrupted.
I installed the Fitbit app on this phone after it was updated to Android 10, that's why my suggestion is to
1. do a full reinstall - uninstall and install it again
2. setup your notifications in the Fitbit app, make sure that the permissions are granted and that the default phone messaging app is selected.
Also you should try sending a test notification and see if that works. That ensures that your phone and tracker is connected.
If you know anything that could help me to reproduce this issue, please let me know.
Thanks

I stopped using the texting App that came with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 and started using the Google Texting App and it now works. However, this is just a work around until they actually get the Fitbit App fixed. Once that happens, I will go back to my original texting app.
