I am using a Huawei P20 pro, i am struggling to get my notifications on my Fitbit Versa watch. I do receive the call notification but other than that nothing. I have the error message display "notification service not running. A phone restart is required to re-enable notification on your tracker". I have restarted the device and my phone several times. I even uninstalled and re-installed the fitbit app. Please give me advice on how to get that error message to go away?

A full restore should resolve this issue as new updates have been released.

I have just purchased a fitbit versa 1 and have this notification error. Why would this error happen on a brand new device?
