For the last week the notifications from my phone to blaze stop working. I can get them going again by turning them all off, restarting phone and switching back on but I have to do this every couple of days which is not ideal. Is there a permanent fix?

To learn ore about this you can search your phone model in our list of compatible devices, since this can be a reason why the notifications can suddenly stop working.
I saw you have tried a few troubleshooting steps, so as a matter of review I would like to share with you the following post to see other alternatives: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
