My daughter got the same fitbit and is able to receive text messages on her Iphone.  I have a Samsung active yet I receive no messages.  Please help this is a cool feature.

Hi there @Lajeanna68, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I'm wondering which model of Samsung Active you have? Make sure your phone is compatible with the Fitbit app. In some scenarios when a device is not compatible, it does not mean it won't work but some features may not work as is expected.

 

In addition, I would like to recommend the following post for more help: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
