i have had problems syncing and notifications are not working at all on my ionic. The watch is set to receive them but the options button in the app has lost all the settings to alter notifications.
Feeling like the ionic was launched before it was really ready.

Hi there @Zilja, good to see you around! I'm wondering if you are not receiving app notifications or Text/Call/Calendar Notifications? Or is the issue present in both scenarios?
I have a similar case when I set up the Ionic. App notifications were checked but after I go back to the settings, the apps I wanted to received notifications were unmarked automatically. What I did was to reset the app and make sure I was running the latest version of the app. (To the date of this post is 2.60).
To reset the app follow these steps:
Log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.
If the issue is whit the Text/Call/Calendar Notifications please try the suggested steps here: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).
On your tittle you also mentioned you are experiencing difficulties to sync. If this is the case, it will explain why you are not receiving notifications, as is require a constant Bluetooth connection between your phone and your tracker. I would like to share the following post for more help regarding this subject: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).
