When l get a call or message on my phone my fitbit Alta used to identify the individual contact sending it. It now identifies the same name irrespective of who calls or text me. How do l correct this.

Hi @Bajangirl7, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to my attention and the details that were shared in your post. To better assist you with this notifications issue, can you please let m know which Android mobile device are you using with your Alta? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then?
In the meantime I receive your answers, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Alta are correctly configured. After verifying this, please try the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: My Fitbit device isn't receiving notifications from my phone and let me know how it goes.
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

Your update is appreciated @Bajangirl7, sorry for the delayed reply.
Thanks for the details that were shared with me. To move forward with this, can you please confirm if the steps from my previous post were tried? As it turns out, your Samsung Galaxy A3 is not listed as a compatible device with our products and services, which is one of the requirements to properly receive notifications with your Fitbit.
If the issue persists, I suggest you to try with a compatible device instead so we can determine if the compatibility concern is what's causing this issue.
Looking forward to your reply.
