Notifications won't work after updates

Hi

I have just done all the fitbit blaze updates on my samsung S8 plus and now I can't get notifications.

NOT HAPPY!!!!! it's 2 months old.

Hi there @Bxgirl77, it's nice to have you as a new member in the Fitbit Community! I was reading you are experiencing issues with the notifications with your Galaxy S8+.

 

It would not hurt to try the following steps to address this issue: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).

None of that works.....i have given up and decided to buy a samsung gear.
I have a feeling that fitbit actually recieves all texts and emails to there server than pass onto our watch rather thsn the watch just being a bluetooth device.
The fitbit server has been down for 2 days and thats how long my notifications s haven't been working for.
Really feel let down, think i wasted my money.

My Pixel phone with Oreo and Fitbit Charge 2 updated to 2.58 still won't give me the correct Notifications screen so I can turn on/off text or email or whatever notifications. There's no "tracker" with my Charge 2 or do you mean the Fitbit itself?
