Pairing Charge 2 with Pixel XL

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just got a Charge 2 (to replace my no loner working Charge HR)  i was able to set it up on my laptop (while connected) but i also want to pair it with my phone (Pixel XL)  But my phone can't seem to find it when i try to use the bluetooth to find a new device.  The app knows that the device exists, but it isnt paired.  can someone either lay out the steps, or direct me to a page that does.  Thanks

Hello @Peri7374, nice to have you here in the Fitbit Community as a new member, definitely I can lay out some steps that will guide you through. If you were able to connect your Charge 2 to your laptop, there is no need to repet the process with your phone.

Just install your Fitbit app and log in with your same email address and password that you used with your computer. Your account will recognized your tracker is already paired so you just need to sync.

If the previous behavior is not happening and the issue persists, perhaps the following steps will do the trick:

  1. Turn off Bluetooth on your phone; wait 10 seconds, and then turn it back on.
  2. Try setting up your device again but not in the regular way since you already have an account. This post will serve you as reference in case you need additional details.
  3. Turn your Fitbit device off and back on using these instructions.
  4. Try setting up your device again.
  5. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your phone or tablet (turn it off and then back on).
  6. Try setting up your device again.
  7. If you can't set up after the reboot, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

Hope this helps and let me know if you were able to sync your tracker with your phone.
