Phone Bluetooth not seeing zip

I've had my zip for about a week now. I've constantly had issues trying to get it to sync. It usually tells me I need to restart my Bluetooth, then it will sync. But even after it syncs, the updated info won't show on the dashboard. I have to go into the steps, then back out for it to show up right, and sometimes that doesn't work unless I do it 3 or 4 times. I tried to sync it about 30 minutes ago, and it kept telling me it could not locate the device. I look on my Bluetooth list and zip is not among the paired devices, nor does it show up when it scans for it. Earlier when I was having sync issues I put on the setting in the app that is supposed to help with Bluetooth issues, and it did sync, but then gave me a warning that my battery was low. The zip now has a low battery symbol in the bottom right corner. Could this be causing the Bluetooth issues? Also, if the battery dies will I lose all the info that is unsynced?

@Sandals30 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I recommend getting a new battery for your Zip. The battery you should get is a 3V coin battery, CR2025. You will find this battery on any store that sells batteries. Sync it first, unsynced information may get lost if battery is taken out. Syncing will be more efficient if you have a full battery. Bluetooth issues on the phone should not be affected by the Zip. You can try rebooting Bluetooth by turning it off, waiting 10 seconds, and turn it back on. Try to reboot your phone as well. Check these syncing troubleshooting steps for Android devices (check @SunsetRunner's steps on that post). Also, check how to restart your Zip (check @AlejandraFitbit's steps on that post!).

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
