Phone won't find FitBit unable to sync

I bought a Flex 2 last December and it stopped syncing to my phone in July.  I removed it from my account hoping to start over with the setup, but my phone (Samsung Galaxy) doesn't find the Fitbit.  I've tried restarting Bluetooth, but that didn't work either.  Bluetooth is working with other devices.  I know it's fully charged and the phone and Fitbit are almost touching.  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app.  How can I get my phone to sync with the Fitbit. Oh, I've tried resetting the Fitbit too.  It's so disappointing to have it stop working in less than a year.

Hello @mfFit, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I was reviewing your Community profile and I'm not able to see a tracker paired as a device. Can you confirm this?

If this is the case note that you need to pair your tracker in order to sync, so let's try to troubleshoot this first. You need to pair your tracker back to your account in case it was removed.

  1. Turn your tracker off and back on using the instructions in this post.
  2. Try the setup process again.
  3. If you can't set up after a restart, reboot your mobile device (turn it off and then back on).
  4. Try setting up your tracker again.
  5. If you can't set up after the reboot, try uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app.

Once you have successfully complete to pair your tracker, try to sync one more time. If the issue persists try the step suggested here: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Keep me posted how it goes. I'll be around!
