Pixel phones-(Android 15) Recent/Frequent food have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen.

I'm sure 4.29 solved some problems, however it introduced a new problem.  When in the food selection both the Recent and Frequent have their tops cropped off at the top of the screen.  Same thing happens when you want to add calories to the top numeric entry field which is cutoff.

One has to wonder about all these updates but never getting very far.

43 days later I finally get this issued resolved for me.  Never mind the myriad of previous problems and those that others are reportedly still exist.  During this long wait there has been no comments from Google, even the Moderators have nothing meaningful to communicate. Google has lost my loyalty and respect for treating customers this way.  I for one will not be renewing my Premium subscription.  I got tired of waiting and I am using Cronometer.  I regret buying the PW3 and my Pixel 9 XL Pro.

I'm trying not to get angry about it.

I'm not going to renew my subscription though, and I'll buy a new phone and tracker from another company after Christmas.

This is ridiculous it's been weeks and we are still having to deal with this. I'm about to start using an entirely different tracking app if this continues for another week. This is absolutely unacceptable by Fitbit.

Right!? I was shocked to find out I lost 90% functionality for me for a service I pay for!

I have an S24Ultra and wasn't using issues either, until a few days ago with the weight section. I think our phones were just slow to update.

They obviously don't care if you use their app. We've already bought the
hardware so we are at their mercy. Luckily I have a close friend who is a
tech writer who has agreed to do a piece on this. I'm also filing a
complaint with the BBB and id suggest others do the same. This is just bad
business period.

Still no solution after more than three weeks. This app was frustrating when it worked correctly. Now I just want to delete it.

Some of pay for this app, too.

I won't be renewing mine, and the phone and watch can go into landfill too.

This is some terrible service right here. And marking it as solved..... What the.....

I guess I'll go over to MyFitnessPal. Paying for an App where there is no priority on fixing introduced bugs irks me.

We are now 4 weeks into this issue with no resolution. This is unacceptable! This is about to cost you a loyalty Fitbit and Pixel user as I'm about to sell my Pixel phone and watch and go to Samsung or Apple where bugs like this actually get attention. You have literally thousands of people complaining about this and 4 weeks later still no fix for a very basic bug. Ridiculous and unacceptable.

I am glad the team is working on this but paying for Premium service and waiting this long for updates and a resolution is frustrating to state the least.

This unsolved issue makes the app unusable for food tracking. I am paying for premium for this purpose and am getting increasingly more frustrated at the lack of care and attention on this issue. I keep checking back but as others have said, marking it as "best answer" does nothing to solve the problem.

Best Answer

I raised another support chat on this and they gave me no timeline for resolution and no new information. Tried to have them up the priority as much as possible.

I reached out to Fitbit via Instagram and they said they're sending it to their analyst. I told them about all of us and how it's a known issue. If I get any meaningful response, I'll update here.

when logging food on the app, the top part of my screen is cut off. I can't log custom food or see macros because I can't "scroll up" enough to have them accessible.

I've tried logging out, uninstalling the app and reinstalling, restarting the phone, everything is up to date.

Food intake tracking has not worked for a month now! Not any word or deadline from devs. This is absurd! My own dev-firm will hotfix these kind of fatal bugs i couple of days!

I give Google/Fitbit ecosystem one week, after that I will buy Garmin watch and switch my Pixel 8 to Samsung. And I will never buy another Google-product.

I agree.

I've had Fitbit from the "One".

They have had issues in the past but at least we were being updated on the progress.

Instead of silence, I'd like to hear what progress is being made. Luckily I hadn't update my tablet to 15 but it's a bit unwieldy.

I've also gone into the app store and left a negative review.

Ita been bugging me for works, especially that I'm needing it with a new nutritional plan and not being able to "add custom" food not helping.

Thanks for keeping us updated Phoenix!
