Pop up notifications on Samsung Galaxy Alpha

I have a charge HR and use a Samsung Galaxy Alpha as my mobile device. 

I have managed to set up calling notifications from my mobile to my fitbit but was wondering if it is possible to get the challenge and goals notifications to appear as pop up notifiactions on my mobile so that I don't have to keep going into the app to see what has been going on. I have a notification that Fitbits Notifications is running and in my sounds and notification settings have set Fitbit as a priority.

Not sure if I am trying to achieve something that is not possible 🙂

@SDQBee I hope you're doing well! Yes, that is possible! Please go to the notifications settings on the online dashboard and search for the "Challenges" option. Make sure the "Mobile" box is checked. Make sure to save after doing this. I left a screen shot below showing how it looks!

Hi Santi,

Thanks for the info and links. I had managed to find this page and have the notifications set up to go to my mobile which is why I thought I should get the pop ups. I have unclicked them all and saved the settings and then clicked them on again and another save so will see how that goes.

Will let you know if it works unless you know of anything else I can try.

@SDQBee Thanks for your reply! Excellent workaround! If that doesn't work, you can try these steps:

• Log out from the Fitbit app.
• Reboot your phone.
• Log back in to the Fitbit app.

My notifications are popping up well but for some reason my phone is not making the notification sound when they do? Any ideas on this one or is it a Samsung issue I need to resolve?

@SDQBee The push notifications from the Fitbit app aren't meant to make a sound, just show a popup. It is expected behavior.
