Problem with syncing within challenges

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.
The past 2 days I am having trouble with my steps not syncing correctly in daily showdown challenge. It works in the workweek hustle and weekend warrior and on my dashboard. In addition, my dashboard did not sync my 9 hour movement or my active minutes. I had to go in a manually enter today's exercise to get my active minutes. I have screen shots but not sure how I can include them.

@Danamarie607 Welcome to our Community! Make sure that you are in the same timezone than the person who started the Daily Showdown challenge. Also you can try logging out from the app and log back to see if the information is properly updated. Regarding your active minutes not all steps/activities will give you. Is not the same that you walk 10,000 steps throughout the day than walking/running 5,000 steps in 45 minutes. Depending on your activity intensity you will be awarded active minutes. You can read more about them here. Also remember that logged activities don't count toward challenges. Finally if you want to add pictures you can do so by clicking on the option when writing your post.

I don't have the option to add pictures on a mobile device. From reading the forums this appears to be a glitch with the app and not anything I am doing wrong. I have cleared my cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, turned the Bluetooth off then on, logged out and back in, restated my phone, reset my tracker. None of this has worked. I am definitely in the same time zone as the challenge participants. I know the active minutes only counts more vigorous activity. I went on a very difficult 3 mile hike yesterday and had over 11,000 steps and zero active minutes. What can be done about this???? The challenges and other indicators on the app are my motivators and this really frustrates me.

Below are screen shots as examples. On Saturday 8/6 I got 12,130 steps and on Sunday 8/7 I got 11,916 steps. Yesterday on 8/7 I went on a vigorous hike. My husband's Fit Bit logged that he had 109 active minutes whereas I have 0. My weekend warrior challenge tracked my steps for the weekend accurately whereas the daily showdown only says 1,688 yesterday 8/7 which is not right at all.

Thanks for the information and the screenshots @Danamarie607. Challenges can be affected by the timezone of the members who are in it as well as any logged activities on your account, this includes MobileRun, manual logs and third party logging.

In this case, it's best to use your tracked steps (without mobile run or manual log) while stepping. Using any kind of manual logging when running or walking will not count towards your challenges.

Let me know if you need anything else. Woman Happy
