Hello, @Rolix! Thanks for the updates! Yes, you can try to update with the computer by following these instructions:
- If your tracker came with a wireless sync dongle, make sure its plugged into a USB port on your computer.
- Unless you installed Fitbit Connect for the first time recently, verify that you're using the latest version:
- Click the Fitbit Connect icon located near the date and time on your computer.
If you cannot find the icon, you may need to reinstall Fitbit Connect fromhttp://www.fitbit.com/setup.
- Click Open Main Menu...
- Click Troubleshooting.
- Below the Fitbit Connect number, click Check for updates.
- Click the Fitbit Connect icon located near the date and time on your computer.
- Go back to the main menu and click Check for device update.
- When prompted, log in to your Fitbit account. Fitbit Connect will sync your tracker and then look for a firmware update. If an update is found, Fitbit Connect will display a progress bar until the update finishes. If your tracker has a screen, you'll also see a progress bar there.
- Keep your tracker close to the computer during the update, which may take several minutes. When the update is done you'll see a confirmation message and your tracker will restart. You're all set.
- If the update fails to complete, try again. If it fails a second time, see Why can't I update my tracker?
If this doesn't work, please get in contact with our Customer Support team, they will be able to further assist you.

Hello there, @Rolix! It is nice to see you around. Are you still experiencing this issue? What do you see on the display?
If your tracker is stuck while updating, please finish the process using a different device or computer than the one you are using, if that doesn't work, you can try to restart it a few times in a row.
To restart it follow these instructions:
- Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
- Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
- Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You’ll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker’s display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
- Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
- Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.
Let me know how it goes!

Followed your steps and tried to update the tracker but same problem and same error message.
Can I update with the dashboard in my computer instead of with the tracker?
Thanks for your help.
