Hi Everyone,
I've merged a few threads together. Thanks for reaching out to us about your experience.
Our security team regularly monitors traffic to our site, and may temporarily block an IP address if suspicious activity is detected. In most cases, the IP address is unblocked within 48 hours.
We’ve identified an issue with our monitoring service that is preventing the IP blocks from being lifted, and we’re currently investigating a solution. We’ll update this thread once we have more information.
In the meantime, we recommend that you attempt to sync your device from a different connection such as a home wifi network.

Can we get some real help? Can Fitbit communicate with Cloudfare regarding the wholesale banning of Cricket IPs? My device's battery drained from 60% to 0% in 5 hours yesterday trying to sync. If Fitbit isn't responsive and proactive about solving this issue for their customers, I know that I personally will return my device and go with a smartwatch instead.

This is exactly my issue. No VPN here either. Fix this, please!

I am not receiving the message about IP being banned but I can't login to fitbit app on my phone(which is usually already logged into) and it won't sync. Everytime I try to login it says invalid email or password which is BS because I just logged in on the desktop. Even though I have no problem accessing on the desktop, I don't sync to that. Hopefully this gets fixed because all my other health apps drive off of the fitbit. Why ban Cricket wireless? I am not running a VPN either.

Does anyone who had/still having this problem also have Cricket wireless?

I think the Cricket wireless IP address is being banned for some reason. There is another thread about that on here. I am not able to use my wifi yet but will try to login when I get home to see if it is just the data side.

Hello everyone!
Thanks to those that have let us know that it seems to be working now.
For the ones that are still experiencing this situation, could you let me know if you are getting some sort of error message or code? If so, what does it say? That should shed some light as to what is going on.
@Odyssey13 Thanks for merging the threads!
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I can not get on the app unless I am using Wifi. Cricket wireless data connection is not allowed. Not sure why this is happening but it started for me sometime overnight. The minute i got in range of my wifi i was able to login to the app on my phone and sync.

Today I have had to turn off my K aspersky Secure Connection because I'm having the same error from Australia. My Secure Connection goes via the USA, hence the error 1006.. Turned it off and all is well.
I have sent a support request to K aspersky because it's also blocking my outgoing emails on Outlook..
Ironically as I post my wife is now having difficulty on her Windows 10 computer with her favorite web pages.. Turned off Secure Connection there....

I also have cricket and am getting this error 1006 message. Please fix, Fitbit! I have alarms set on my Fitbit that now I can't change until I can sync, which requires logging in. Very frustrating.

I am using Straightalk wireless and am also being blocked by Cloudflare. I am not running a VPN. I unloaded the app and downloaded again. I can't even log in now. My company has a current challenge running though Virgin Pulse and this is really complicating things. %$#@&^%

For those affected, your IP addresses are included in a "block list" which holds information for worldwide IP address. It might just mean your IP address isn't being authenticated and is banned.
I don't think Fitbit can help because I'm even havng issues with Google having a "bad" certificate.. I cleaned up my browser history and that fixed that problem.
Maybe that could help those with issues by starting by clearing history from your browsers

Well not sure why it worked but I cleared my Google history on all devices and all of a sudden I can sync with my phone using data again. Fingers crossed.

Hello @cianciolo and @thompsoj05 .
Thanks for letting me know.
In this case, I'd like to ask if you get some sort of error message when you try to log in while connected yo your phone's mobile data?
Look forward to your reply.
