Would anyone have an idea why the weight record on the android app shows the green star against weight records that are ABOVE my target?  I changed goal to maintenance this morning and now most recent records are showing green when it's obvious it's not the target weight Smiley Frustrated anyone?? What am I missing here? thxundefined

@DeinGesicht that's a very good question! Have you tried tapping on any of the logs with the green star? What info do you have? Do let me know.

Have you checked that your app has been updated to it's latest version? That might do the trick. Please verify the following to update the Fitbit app:

  1. Open the Google Play store on your device.
  2. Tap the menu button.
  3. Tap My Apps and choose the Fitbit app.
  4. Tap Update. If you want automatic updates in the future, check the Allow automatic updating box.

I really hope this helps. Keep me posted! Cat Very Happy

Hi

Only just seeing this reply - it's still happening, updated goal (for maintenance) yesterday and it started happening again; logs over the target show the green star.  For a while it was working ok, well, until I updated the goal yesterday.  when I went just over the target/goal this morning, it still shows the green star.  Can't think how it was working ok for a while, and now it isn't.

(app up to date too)

thanks, A

@DeinGesicht thanks for getting back to me! That's pretty weird. What if you tap on the weight goal with the star? What info does it show? Do let me know. If possible please post me back a screenshot. I'll be looking forward to your new comments!

hi - first image is what I get if I click on the record with the green star beside it, when it clearly isn't my goal weight.

And an example  of where none of my entries meet the target yet all come up green.

Hi, any idea why this might be happening, based on the screenshots? Cheers

@DeinGesicht Thanks for the screenshots. Based on that info I see that your weight is 9st 4 lbs and all of your weight logs are lower than that. That's why you receive a green star since you haven't gone over that weight. Hope this makes sense. Let me know if you have any other question! Smiley Happy

But my target was 9st 1 lb(maintenance) or thereabouts. Anytime I go over that, it still comes up with the green star, anything over the target shouldn't show the green star, surely?

Thanks for getting back to me @DeinGesicht! Based on the screenshot you posted here, it shows that your weight is 9st 4lbs. Please clarify that for me as I'm a little confused here. Smiley Happy Smiley Tongue I'll be looking forward to your new comments!

What I mean is:

  • my weight goal was 9st 1lb - a maintenance plan - when the screenshots were taken
  • anytime I go over that (9st 2, 3 etc) it still shows the green star beside it - even though it's ABOVE 9st 1.

9st 4 isn't the goal weight, and hasn't been at any point recently Smiley Frustrated

Maybe this is too late, but I was having the same issue and it was bugging me too. The star was green and the top section didn't show how much I had lost or how many pounds I had to go to reach my goal. It just showed my current weight.

I found the problem. Go to account:nutrition and body (under goals) and scroll down to "weight/your goal." Change it to "lose."

Mine had somehow been changed to "maintain" instead of lose. I changed it back to lose and it solved the issue. It showed me at zero pounds lost and had my start date as today. So I changed my start date and weight to the day I started and it's all correct now. Hope this helps.
