New (replacement) fitbit scrolls message to go to setup. I have already set up the old, malfunctioning fitbit and cannot figure out how to transfer to the replacement fitbit. Do I have to delete the app and download again? Will all my data be lost?

Go into the account section of the app where you'll see an option to "set up a device". Select this and say that you want to set up a Charge 3. It will ask if you want to replace your existing Charge 3. Just say yes and follow the prompts. All your data, settings, badges etc will be retained.
