Hi, although I read that the s10 is not compatible with Fitbit (which disappoints me) I bought the Versa Classic. I was excited because I have heard so many good things about Fitbit. However my Vera (which is new is not letting me finish setup. I'd be sad to sack it. Any tips?

3.6.1 is now the latest version of the app. It's still buggy and it seems that new updates will be released in the next days.
If nothing of the above works, and you have Versa original / 1 (not Versa 2), you could temporarily revert to the earlier version of the Fitbit app 2.95. Google "fitbit 2.95 mirror" without the quotes.
