I think it's not ready for versa and 9+ is the big delay, I love the feel
and clock and relax app plus fitbit apps so I'm going to keep it wait and
just keep checking phone like I did before smartwatches , ty for idea, yes
I did try it but not notifying aa of yet

Just an update my text messages are now coming in as well most likely using
the fit notification app, I've turned so many things on off on off lol I
cant remember the steps but if anyone is using a special app with galaxy 9
and a versa and getting their calander alerts please keep me in mind thank
you for feedback

I underscored the same trouble with my blaze (08/2016) when I switch to Samsung S8, but just for notifications. The answer was the the same. As it wasn't solve in August 2017, I migrate to Garmin Vivoactive HR

I honestly cant remember the steps I used to synch I leave the synch all
day on though, I had to use a friends cell w hotspot he had unlimited data
it drains data fast so it cant be used to first synch install on public
wifi or 4g or at least mine didn't but once it loaded it synched it's own
apps off my phone . Still waiting on calander I downloaded my agenda but
cant companion it. Txt mess finally r coming in

thank you so much I will definitely try using a friends hot spot.  Mine get all the way to where it asks you for the 4 digit code and then after taking forever to attempt to connect it says cant connect do you want to try again 😞  thanks for the reply anything helps and is worth a try.

I sent mine back to Amazon...IT WILL NOT SYNC WITH THE SAMSUNG S9 OR S9+. YOU HAVE TO GET THE FITBIT VERSA SE

I researched difference is chip to allow paying which I won't use, but
synching is working just not calander I got the message texting but forgot
which buttons I turned on or off I tested it all day then they started
popping up on versa, thanks for feedback

Hi Jaimmie,
I simply connected my Fitbit to my phone by the USB cable, but you need the adapter for the phone to connect USB port. Then sync occurred.Bazosb

Hi there fellows, thank you for input and workarounds provided to address some syncing difficulties while the S9 and S9+ are being tested. For any question you may have at the moment please refer to this post. You may find some additional suggestions.

There is no timeframe of when this mobile phone will be fully compatible. We are working to have more updates in the future.

I feel like I wasted my money in the ionic.  It's refusing to connect bluetooth to my Samsung S9+.  When I 1st got it it was connecting and now it's telling me there's a Bluetooth error. Very bodies reading this do not buy a fit bit if you have an S9 until they get this straightened out! I am out almost $300 because of this issue.

Do you get your texts and calls coming through on your Blaze? I did when I had my old iPhone, but now with the s9+, nothing shows up or vibrates at all.

How Are you managing to do this as mine will not. The only thing it does is sync my steps..... it does NOT however bring up text messages or any calls.

Hi, I installed a App called Fit notifications and now I get all my
messages and phone calls notifications on my Fitbit Alta.
