How soon do you expect the Ionic to be compatible with the new Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+?

I did have the S7 synced for notifications. It really worked pretty well with the S7. Problems started immediately with S9.

I have unpaired the S7 from my Fitbit but still not getting notifications. I am not receiving ANY text msgs or phone notifications and only some of my calendar notifications.

Hello @KRPE.

Thanks for giving that a shot.

I'd like to confirm: did you set notifications back up after removing the Ftibit from your S7 or continued as it was? If you didn't try to set them up again now.

Additionally, what text messaging app are you using on your phone?

Let me know if you have any further questions.

I took my fitbit Alta HR back to the place I brought it as couldn't get either my S9 or my sons iphone 6 to receive calls or txt messges.  The did a factory reset (pushing the wee button on the side of the charger cable) and it is now working perfectly with my S9

Hello @Dragonfly92127@Dell2119 and @Debrahl.

Glad to read that a reset did the trick for you @Dell2119 and @Debrahl! Hopefully it continues to work without any hiccups.

@Dragonfly92127 Are you running the set up process through the Fitbit app or are you trying to pair it directly on the S9's Bluetooth settings? If you are trying the latter please try to run the set up on the Fitbit app directly.

Let me know if there are any further questions.

Unfortunately the reset did not help. The charge 3 won't pair with my phone.  I went back to my old phone, a Galaxy S7 and tried to try to sync so I wouldn't lose my data.   It wouldn't sync with the old one either. Neither one of my Galaxy's will pair with the charge 3 which leads me to believe that something is a mIss with the tracker. This tracker had been connected to both phones with no problem  and then just stopped.  Both phones see the tracker but it keeps timing out.

Is there a good number for me to reach Fitbit regarding replacing my new tracker? I've had it just a little over a month... it quit syncing 4 weeks after purchase.

I don't have a Blaze. Before the Ionic I didn't use any type of tracker.

Hello @Srh4jc.

Thanks for sharing those details.

In this case I'd like to ask you if you have followed the steps listed in this help article? They should definitely help in getting the Ionic to sync again. If not, please give them a try.

If you have already tried them, please let me know if you are getting some sort of error message and if so, what does it say?

Look forward to your reply.

Yes I did.
My problem isn't that I was never able to link them.  My charge 3 was connected to my Galaxy S7 for a month and to the S9 for a little over a week before it disconnected.
I have not been able to reconnect the Charge 3 to either one of my phones.
Both phones can see it, the Fitbit just won't pair.
