Setup difficulties with Versa 2 and Samsung S7

I’ve got a Samsung s7 edge that works awesome with my Versa.  Thank goodness I didn’t buy the Versa 2, it was given to me by the school where I work.  It was given as a Christmas gift.

 

The Versa 2 has been a nightmare!  I’m back to wearing my tried and true Versa cause no matter what I try to do, the 2 is not happy.  Talk about ruining a good thing!  I’m not sure what Fit did to their 2, but they really screwed the pooch on this one. 

I just wish the school wasn’t out the money on these things.  They tried to be nice and this is what they get. Any ideas?!
