I suppose there was an update. The app presents sleep data differently.  Have others noticed this?

I miss seeing how long episodes of awake, light, REM and deep sleep are

I had the old version back this morning for some reason and was so happy. Now it is back to that monstrosity. Bummer

Good for you, then they took it away?

I have the Versa 3, so we'll see if they are reverting across their line of
products.
Best Answer
Not my Versa 3. Good for you. Maybe they are distributing throughout the
week.

On my Android, I can delete data, setup the app again, sync the watch again .. and I DID get my old sleep graphs back

Best Answer

There is a way to revert it IF you have Android (I have not seen an iPhone method to revert). Check Facebook for the revert process

Best Answer

I was able to get back to the good graphs by using "Delete data" and then setting up the app and watch again

disable automatic update for all of your apps. I am very selective on what apps I allow to auto update. I will never update my Fitbit app again (I was able to find a way to revert and keep the old graphs thanks to someone posting to a Fitbit group on Facebook). Fitbit has also removed some features that were free in the old app, now making them accessible by the Premium fee only.

on my Android, I use "clear data" and then setup my app and watch again. While a pain, it has worked to bring back the old graphs

It reverted back. I am so upset!

I was able to get back to the good graphs by going into settings and apps
on my android and clicking clear data. You have to setup the app again and
re-pair the phone, but that worked to bring my GOOD graphs back again

Did you use delete ALL the data in your app, or just the sleep scores and a
certain date range?

After deleting the data, did you uninstall the app and reinstall or just
reboot the phone (Android)

Thanks much

I wonder if these are just premium Fitbit users because they've paid extra. Maybe Fitbit feels they should be able to revert back but those of us who are not premium users only spent money on the watch and we'll just have to stick to the new version. I'll try it this week and see what happens. Good luck to us all.

Hate the sleep update, less information than before. I don't sleep well and liked to be able to click and see what time I was awake and for how long. Update is a backward step!.

good grief.  what a hassle to something that used to be so automatic. what a Downgrade!

Best Answer

Exactly!  There's NO WAY I'm staying with Fitbit when there are other trackers out there that make my life easier, not harder!

Best Answer

No, the new version came back later in the day.🥺

I hate the revised sleep app.  It is definitely not an improvement.  It isn’t as easy to understand and doesn’t give me the information I need, basically my oxygen levels as I sleep and the times they are high or low.  Give us the old app back.  Sometimes when these genus programmers get an idea they don’t think thing’s through or how it effects the user!

Adding another comment concerning the lack of accuracy in the way data is processed, last night the app claimed that I went to sleep at 12:43 when in fact I was in bed and fast asleep (hard party Sunday) before midnight.  It also asserted that I woke up at 9:02 which is curious since I had been up for around 15 minutes moving around before picking up my phone and finding that at 9:03 when I checked my phone.  So to Fitbit's revised way of processing data I had been sleep walking!  To my knowledge I have never walked and brushed my teeth while sleeping prior.  This is a disaster.

in the Android phone, go to settings, scroll down to Apps .. scroll to the
Fitbit app and click on it.

you will see "delete data" (vs only delete cache). When I use "delete
data", it causes me to setup from scratch but does bring back my old graphs
and permissions.
