Every morning I go for a 30+ minute walk. My heart rate goes up significantly and I get 7,000 steps in a short amount of time. My auto detection for walks is set at 15m.
How is it possible that with all these indicators that I'm walking, it won't detect or track this as a walk?

Hi there, @cryptyk. Nice to see you around the Fitbit Community Forums. Thank you for trying to troubleshot this issue before reaching out.
I'd recommend to lower the auto-exercise recognition time to 10 minutes, restart your watch, sync with the Fitbit app and try tracking your walk exercise one more time. If if is possible try with a different exercise as well.
Sorry you missed those walks, you can manually log them in the Fitbit app. So you don't loose those steps. For more instructions, see this help article.
Hope this helps.

Are there any thoughts about lowering the threshold below 10 minutes? Are there technical reasons workouts under 10 minutes are not valid.
