Sms help

Please someone tell me why everything works on mi fitbit vera 2 except, my sms messages. I can push open on my phone but, the it will not show me the full text on the watch. My android phone has android 9. It is a lg7 thinq. I have called my provider and fitbit tech. Any ideas?

Ok @SunsetRunner when you read the SMS are you tapping  the message once?

Tapping the open will close the message on the watch and open it on the phone.

Only the first characters will show, I think it is 150

I tried that when the text comes through it show up with contacts name only and a folder pic beside it
