SpO2 app is installed but Fitbit app denies

ANSWERED

I just got my charge 6 and noticed that there's no SpO2 reading inside the app. While looking into the detail page, there's a note asking me to install the SpO2 App and if I click on it, I'm linked to SpO2 tracker app that's designated for sense 2.

This is what I see when I go to learn more:

If I reinstall the preinstalled SpO2 App, the reading shows up. This is the 2nd day it's acting like that. Any Idea why this is happening?

Just installed the new app version on my iPad - same message 'please install the SpO2 app on your smart watch'.

It works one day and not the next. I did the update and it worked, then 2
days later it didn't work.

Still having the same issues as everyone else on my Versa 4. Saying installed on one screen, saying need installed but not available on another. Tried everything told too and still nothing. Very frustrating.

Just updated it and still getting the same regarding the need to install the app. Says on one screen it's installed and on another it's not available and not compatible. I have the Versa 4 and one reason I upgraded from the Versa 2 was for the SpO2.

So problem not fixed yet.

This answer from April is tagged as the best answer , yet the June messages show that there is no answer.

There is no answer, best or worst.

Fitbit is just ignoring the issue and its customers.

I assume Google is winding down Fitbit brand products in favor of pixel watch?

You'd be a fool to buy another Fitbit given the total lack of support.

Thanks for confirming what I was wondering, I'm a fool for buying a Charge
6 earlier this month 🙂😂
What is even more interesting is that I spent time with a person from the
call center figuring out how to install the app. The call center person did
not know this was a known issue.

I'm pretty sure they auto-tag their own answers as best answers even when
they don't answer.
