@Guru09, are you sure that you are logging in with the correct email address when you restart the Fitbit app? Usually when it does not display the current stats, it is because it was not logged in with the correct email address.

The app keeps me logged in, there is no question of logging in again...even calories it shows fine, but only number of steps moves to zero on kill & relaunch. As an Android user I have an habit of killing the app when not in use & relaunch...I think it's Fitbit app bug for Android...

Nexus 5X-LG is my mobile. Steps reverted to zero each time I open the app. I use my mobile as tracking device with the app. due to this I am losing challenges with friends who are using iOS but not seeing any issues 😞

Hi, @Guru09! Thanks for being part of the family! Hmmm...this should not be happening. Please make sure that you are actually syncing before you close or kill the App. Do you have the Bluetooth on while you do it and does the information reflects on your App after the process is done?
If would appreciate very much if you provide me screenshots of this situation so I can have a better picture of what you are seeing.
@USAF-Larry, thanks so much for your help.
I'll be waiting for your updates. 🙂

I have a similar problem, but I'm not force-quitting. It seems the app is zeroing my steps (but not calories) every time I swipe it away and it goes to the background. I have Android 8.0 Oreo on a Google Nexus 6P. I wonder if it has something to do with the new background limitations in Oreo. Anyway none of my steps are being saved or synced. Needless to say with zero steps I'm in last place in my challenge.
