So my wife bought me the Surge today.  It is supposed to have some really cool bells and whistles...besides the basics of tracking steps, etc..it is supposed to be a smart watch with text reading capabilities and all the neat stuff.  Well, IT DOES NOT!  I called tech support and they (in their broken English) went on to apologize and inform me that this product that is 250 dollars isn't compatible with my Galaxy S8.  WTF?

 

So my qustion is to the fitbit team....When will this device be compatible with the S8?  Or should I send this P.O.S. back like I have all of the other trackers I've bought and tried from you line products?

I would return it if you can and get something similar from a competitor.

 

I sold my Blaze; got tired waiting for Fitbit to make it compatible.

 

Fitbit do not provide any information regarding devices currently under test or when devices are expected to be added to compatible device list. I've been monitoring the list for months now and they haven't added any new devices in 2017.
