Syncing Fitbit App with either Galaxy Watch (Active) or Samsung Health App

An old fitbit I was carrying around died last week.  I haven't been able to figure out how to sync a Galaxy Watch Active either directly or via Samsung Health App to the Fitbit App.  I see lots of postings but things change over time.  Has anyone figured out how to do it successfully?  If so, how?  I'm open to using another app as an intermediary if that would work.  Thanks.

I appreciate the information and details that were shared in your post. Let me share with you that at this moment it's not possible to sync a Galaxy Watch Active nor the Samsung Health App with your Fitbit account. However, I found a feature suggestion regarding this, therefore, I suggest you to visit this specific request and participate with a vote and comments. 

 

Take in consideration that this feature suggestion is currently listed as Not currently planned, however, we are always reviewing our users feedback to ensure that we are delivering what our Fitbit customers want and need.
