Do you have any idea when this will be fixed please?

I rely on my Charge4 and if it is going to be an ongoing problem, I will have to look at other devices.

If your only problem is that it is not syncing,

1.  That happens occasionally and often just waiting a while get it to work.  Learn to live with the fact it doesn't always sync when you want; it still is storing your data and will all be good when (if) it does sync.

2. There is currently a known very recent problem syncing Android that they are working on and hoping for fix soon.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Yes, Fitbit told me that it's not supported or tested for the Galaxy J7, so
would probably have problems even when (if?) they fixed this problem. I
just returned mine to Kohl's and got a refund. It's just under the
timeline for a Christmas present. Good luck!

Thanks but now I'm really confused. My Honor 9 Lite says it's on 9.1.0. Surely 3.37 was years ago?

Super frustrating. I talked to a rep yesterday and he concluded I would need to buy a new watch. So I upgraded to the Versa 3 and it still wouldn't sync. I was about ready to go purchase a new phone thinking it was my phone that was the problem. So glad I checked here again. Hoping they get this fixed asap. Otherwise I will return the Versa 3 and go with a different brand altogether.

I dug out my old war torn Blaze, charged it and it's working with App version 3.37, sync and tracking. So friends, dig the old dinosaurs out of the bottom of your sock drawer, charge up and we're back in business.

It refers to the Android Fitbit app version that is in Google Play right now. Not your Android operating version. It updated on Jan.20th.

My phone is running Android 9 on a Samsung J3.  The Versa worked earlier then didn't, so it had to be a fluke.  All I know is this whole experience with fitbit has shown me that I got along just fine for 50 years without a smartphone & they won't sucker me into buying another one when the unit dies.  I bought my first versa 1 year ago & I'm on my third versa after having what customer service told me was two defective devices. My warranty ended 3 days ago too.  Neat little gadget, but totally not necessary & not worth the stress.  I'll go back to my old analog watch that needed a new battery about every 5 years before I buy another fitbit product.

Oh I get it - we're talking about which fitbit app version we're on. So I'm on 3.36.1 and I still have sync problems with my Honor 9 Lite. Grrrrr.....

3.37 is the Fitbit app version...not your phones operating system. The Android app is the problem.

Sorry to be thick but what does 3.37 refer to? A fitbit version or an android version? If it's the fitbit version, how do I tell which version I'm using? I have the same sync issues as everyone else.

3.37 refers to the version of the Fitbit app.

You can see the version of the Fitbit app that is currently installed in the app itself.  In the Fitbit app, tap on your Account icon (upper right-hand corner of the Fitbit home screen), scroll down to "Help" and tap that.  The version of the app that you are running is displayed at the top of the screen.  You can also see it by going into Settings on your phone, then Apps (or Applications), and then view the details of the Fitbit app.  I'm looking at two different Samsung Galaxy phones right now (one with Android 6.0.1, the other with Android 9) and one has the version listed at the top and the other has it all the way down at the bottom, so you may need to scroll a bit.

If you want to know when the current version was installed on your phone (not everyone receives updates at the same time) then you can see that in the list of your apps in Google Play (Google Play Store ->My Apps and Games) then scroll down to the Recently Updated apps and you will see the most recently updated apps with the date (or if today, the time) that the app was updated.  It doesn't show you every app so if the last update was more than a few days ago it won't show up.

The 3.37 refers to the new Fitbit Update from 01/20/21. You can see it in your settings > apps > Fitbit ; you might have to scroll downdown, so you see your current version:)

btw I have the same struggles with syncing...
