I have noticed that we have again got issues with syncing after a new version for the fitbit app has been issued. We are now on 3.12 and there have been endless problems since version 3.10 which was when it affected me. I got mine and others sorted when we all installed our latest Samsung software update.
This was October /November so may be different now.
My latest Samsung update is still from end of November so worth a try. I checked earlier and not a more recent one available.. I don't do any updates automatically anymore so I don't get caught out again.
My tracker and phone are still syncing.
Try. It might still work.
Fitbit, shame on you for treating your customers so badly.
Samsung, your help is needed again.

Hi @Lizzie.h, It's nice to see you again participating here in the Community Forums, welcome back.
First, I appreciate your effort and patience for troubleshooting this situation prior to posting, I totally understand how frustrating this matter can be for you but I'm here to help you with this. That said, if you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
Please make sure that your mobile device is compatible because due to a compatibility concern you can experience connection difficulties.
Thanks for the feedback that was shared in your post. Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I recently bought a Versa 2 as a gift for my husband, only to find out it would not sync with his phone (Android). After looking into it further, I found a list of the phones it was compatible with and other than Apple, most of the phones are older phones. As a person who prefers Android over Apple, and quite frankly, Apple has their own watches for their phones, how about giving us something we can actually use? Now I'm just out almost $150 because it won't sync with either his or my phone.
