Target cardio load missing

My wife gets a little range drawn on her cardio load graph but mine is missing. Mine always says "no target" even though I have a couple weeks of data and it has pop up messages about take it easy or that I should target a range.

Hello @martinbzz99

Would you please share more details about the issue you're experiencing and if you've tried any troubleshooting?

My wife’s Sense 2 - there has never been a cardio load target but in text accompanying the load score there has been a range visible. That has now disappeared too for the last several days. Weirdly her readiness score has disappeared too. Have hard reset device and deleted and reloaded app without success. My Charge 5 - similar to my wife’s issue - no actual cardio load target and now the text which includes a range has disappeared too. Have again hard reset and deleted app and so on, to no avail.

Hello @martinbzz99

Thanks for providing the additional information.

By any chance, are either of you having problems with heart rate tracking and/or sleep tracking? The updated Daily Readiness algorithm uses sleep data for the score; see this page (<-- click link). So, if you're not seeing sleep data, then you won't see a Daily Readiness score.

Are either of you seeing a number for your Cardio Load on the Today page? Is there a message that it's still calibrating?

This help page has the information on how Cardio Load & Cardio Target Load are calculated (<-- click link), including what data is used by the algorithms.

I have filled out the form. Still no cardio target load. I have reinstalled multiple times. I have a readiness # and I get a cardio load when I have events.

Hello again. We have not changed anything but this morning both of our devices are showing the cardio load range to aim for today within the text about whether we are over/under training or maintaining. Still no actual target below the day’s cumulative score.

Readiness score has reappeared on my wife’s Sense 2 as well.

My only other observation is that the cardio load range and commentary seems extremely volatile - one day you are told to take it easy and even if exceeding the target, the next day you are told that you are in danger of under training and touch yourself. Feels like quite an under developed blunt instrument to me as yet.

Hello @martinbzz99

Thank you for the update and letting us know that you & your wife are seeing some improvement. Glad to see that your wife is getting her Daily Readiness score again. I'm wondering if the missing target will eventually show back up.

For what it's worth, there are updates to the Fitbit app that are rolling out. I got an update this week to version 4.36.1. I saw a Moderator post today (19 Feb 2025) that another update, version 4.37, started rolling out on 18 Feb 2025 and is expected to finish to rollout by the end of the month. Although I haven't seen what fixes are included in the 2 updates, hopefully, there are fixes/improvements for the Cardio Load feature.

PS: Sorry for your frustration from the predictive text. But I had to laugh when I re-read your post and saw the error.

Hello. I spoke to soon. The cardio load range within the text has disappeared again. So no load target at all on either of our devices again for the past couple of days.

Hello @martinbzz99

I just want to confirm that you & your wife are both seeing Daily Readiness scores.

Your wife is using a Sense 2 and you're using the Charge 5. Please let us know which version of the Fitbit app are on your mobile devices.

Hello@Suieandgirls

Which Fitbit device are you using and what app version do you have on your phone?

Hello - per my last message. Yes we are both seeing Daily Readiness Scores now. Just no Cardio Load targets after briefly reappearing 2 days ago.

Cardio load target range back up and refiners scores fine (note cardio load in the text only). I still think the ranges are daft at times - I was told to take it easier yesterday but comfortably exceeded my target range and have been told to up my game today as not working hard enough…!

Aaaargh - refiners (???) = readiness

I did that. On a phone with up to date OS and the latest version of Fitbit.

Hello @jrsmith888

I take it that you are still not seeing a Target Cardio Load message in your Fitbit app. Is that right?

What do you see when you open the Cardio Load page in the Fitbit app? Are you getting your Daily Readiness score?

Hello,

I posted quite a while ago that my issue had been resolved. So, my target
cardio load has been working just fine.

Thanks,
Stephanie

Uninstalling and reinstalling worked for me as well.  I have been trying to figure this out for weeks!

Never gotten a Target Cardio Load, always No Target. I wear my Inspire 3 regularly. Uninstalled and reinstalled twice, no fix. It tells me I'm overtraining but gives me no range for that. I get a pop up saying my target load is low due to overtraining, but I still can't see what that load allegedly is. Filling out the form.

I have had to migrate to a Google account to get it to work, and I regret it. I do not want to use a Google e-mail or account and such for my Fitbit information. It's regrettable that the cardio load function is exclusive to Google. I am hoping they're able to migrate my Fitbit account back to an independent Fitbit account where I can just set my name and birthday and such in the Fitbit App. I prefer my updates come to my non-Google account. I deeply, deeply, deeply, deeply regret migrating and fear they will simply dismiss my pleas to return to a proper Fitbit account with a "nope, impossible" and close my ticket out.

Hello @SeirinNo7

I saw that you posted this question in another place in this forum and already got your answer from 2 Fitbit PEs. I know it wasn't the answer you were hoping to get.

Hi everyone, it's great to see you around.

I appreciate the time taken to share your feedback and the steps that you've tried. I'm happy to let you know that our team has implemented a fix, and your target should now be visible on the Cardio Load tile.

If you haven't already, please update your Fitbit app and reboot your phone. After doing so, check the Fitbit app to ensure the information is displaying correctly.
