Text Notifications

My text notifications have not worked for 3 days now, I still show my phone calls but no text are showing up on my fitbit blaze. I have tried everything, it seems like it happens once a month. Drives me crazy

A warm welcome to the Community @Redneckhlh. If your tracker is not receiving notifications, I recommend following @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications post. Also, please check that your phone is a compatible mobile device.

A couple of additional things to try in addition to the post mentioned above.  My message notification to FitBit was working and then just quit. I went through all of the suggested fixes above and nothing worked.  I ended just trying a number of things in no particular order.  Your mileage may vary.

 

- Deleted the "Messenger" app which I don't use and left the "Messages" app only

- Ensured that Settings->Default Applications->Messages was set

- Went to Settings->Application manager->Fitbit and hit Clear Data & Clear Cache (ignore warning message, just do it)

 

One tidbit worth mentioning.  In the FitBit app, Dashboard->Select the Device (at top)->Call and Text Notifications->Text Notifications screen, I had "Messages" displayed twice.  I always thought this was weird.  After the procedure above, "Messages" is displayed once and it works. 

 

FitBit Team, your thoughts???
