I'm not sure the reasoning, all the other functions work (i.e. steps, workouts, heartbeat) but I can not get my calls and text messages to get forwarded to the surge watch. Can anybody help?

Hello @Illusiveness, let me give you the warmest welcome to the Fitbit Community. The Samsung Galaxy S8+ still is under test to review its compatibility with the Fitbit app. This doesn't meant it wont work but we cannot predict the behavior with the Fitbit tracker and app features.

It wouldn't hurt to try the following troubleshooting steps to address the issue you are experiencing: My tracker isn't receiving notifications (Android Fitbit app).

To see the latest list of supported devices, please go to http://www.fitbit.com/devices. If your device isn't listed, you can check the link at a later date to see if device support has been added.

See you around!

Hello,  I have A s8 and every day I have to go into the app settings, notifications,  turn then off for the fitbit app, exit, go back in and turn them back on,  and that buys my another day... might work for you.  Hopefully fitbit fixes it

Hello @Talagin, good to see you around and thank you for bring this to my attention. As an update of my latest post, the Samsung Galaxy S8/S8+ has been added to our official supported devices list.

Please take a look at this post for more updates or additional information about the notifications.

As the previous post mentioned there are a few things that need some tweaks, however if the notification settings keep reverting, please try to set up your tracker again as a replacement device. For more a guided help, take a look at this post.

See you round and let me know if you have additional questions.
