Text notifications on Surge

Last month I updated my Samsung galaxy S5 OS to the marshmallow 6.0...Since doing this I don’t receive text notifications on my Surge display. But I do still receive call notifications. i have deleted and readded everything. Any suggestions? I have checked with fitbit support but they could not help me resolve it.

Welcome to the Community @BGC910. Thanks for troubleshooting this issue by yourself. I would like to know if you keep having problems receiving texts notifications? If you do, I recommend following @MarreFitbit's instructions in the My tracker isn't receiving notifications post.

thanks i have tried all the steps listed as well as contacted fitbit support but nothing has resolved the issue. Is there a known issue with the marshmallow update?
