It's awful. You can't put stuff where you want it anymore. The colors are depressing. Seriously, Change it back. This might be the end of fitbit for me.

Completely agree! What were they thinking. It makes no sense to remove

REALLY dislike the new uodate. Can't see the % left on my watch, can't see detailed info anymore, colors are BAD, and worst of all, it's not logging my excercise! It'll shiw I had 45 min of vigorous activity according to the heart rate zones, but doesn't log it as excercise, but a stroll with the dog it counts. Whaaat?

Bring back the old version! There is nothing good about this new one. I'm now looking to switch to something else.

@BlueGirl67 before reading your post I'd already taken the decision to leave a 1 star review on the app store.  Unsurprisingly there are lots of  negative reviews, however when I sort them by 'most recent' I only see reviews up to 28 Sept. I wrote mine 2nd Oct, i dont see it there. There must be many more written in the last few days so where are they, are they able to 'reject' the reviews?

But why did you change the app?? I find it really ugly, cold and not very useful..I definitely prefer the old one. Is there a possibility to still have the old app?? I can't change the word sport for example to Tennis as I could do in the old app. Really a disappointment!! The style is also very icy!! But who really likes the new app?? I certainly don't!

Some more observations having now suffered with this new app for a few days.

1. Annoying "adverts" for premium things that cannot be hidden.

2. From front page, tap on the < symbol to go back one day, tap on steps and it shows today's data.

As an aside, I have a Google Nexus 6P phone which has been "abandoned" (ie. No software updates). I have put a more modern version of Android on it. An 8-core CPU phone would otherwise become junk. 

Now I see I could pre-order a Charge 6 (you are joking Google). Nothing new that the Charge 5 could do with new firmware and some things that were present with the Charge 4. Google what kind of fool do you think the customers are? What happened to "the customer is always right"?

I feel that it will not be long before I move to another brand after first having a FitBit One when they first came out.

That is the least of their problems... they broke pretty much everything how on earth this release got into production beggars belief ...

We’ve made calls to customer support and basically been told it is what it is. !

Not to mention the look of it just plain whereas the other was more engaging and the click and drag to manage the dashboard was so useful.

it's all ridiculous...last night I played tennis and I couldn't record the word tennis instead of SPORT which I could do comfortably in the old app. I think I'll rush back to my old Garmin. This new version of the app sucks!!!

Worst "üpdate"ever.  No more battery percentage and no more max heart rate for workouts.

No more premium for me.

Hello, sorry if this has already been answered, I can't seem to search within this thread.

Since the update, how do you download the Fitbit Premium monthly Wellness Report PDF file? 

I can't seem to locate where you download it from. 

Or has this feature been discontinued now?

I finally found where it is.

In the fitbit premium interface of the app, click on your google profile icon in the top right corner and then click "Membership Benefits". Then the old menu now appears.

Heart Rate: at 08:00 it said that the resting BPM was 60 and now at 11:25 it says 61. How does that work? How can you trust it?

On a walk this morning it did another one of those instant BPM of 170 which if it had been true would have put me on the ground, if not six feet under the ground. But hey FitBit don't fix important outstanding issues like that when you can waste time, money and lose customers with a rubbish app update.

I am very disappointed with Fitbit App update 4.0, but I do not have Fitbit Premium and my account has not been moved to Google.

Maybe I am not the target audience for this update.

Perhaps there are users that have seen enhanced functionality, or new users who could not be fully integrated without an update. Are there any major positives here? Has anyone seen a benefit?

I think I’m going to cancel premium too!! Sooo annoyed with this downgrade!!!

i can see that there are many many of us who feel the same.  How do we contact the powers that be? Or start a petition ? 
Surely if we all email directly to fitbit (I have been unable to find an email address) and cancel our premium memberships they will have to do something? 
If anyone knows who to email, or has any ideas, please reply!

I am not impressed. All spatial green and white. Difficult to read and get your favorite stats. The exercise layout used to be more informative. And easier to read, color zones, etc.  Also, why is the weight tab now showing my weigh as opposed to pounds lost? 

How do we get the old interface back?

Where is the stride hiding or is it no longer available to edit?

Seems all things are being disabled

After seeing what google has done to Fitbit Google can insure few would ever want a pixel Google phone.
