Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

Happy stepping!

Even us olds *hate* it

I have been looking at the recent reviews on Google Play and all of the positive ones are very very similar. Who at Fibit/Google has been stuffing the ballot box?

Best Answer

How can I get the old one back? Not liking this revision at all.

What were fitbit thinking the new app layout is terrible. What was the ability to see everything in a quick glance now had me stopping looking having to scroll down the screen. Everything one bland colour. It really is so badly designed just can't put into world how much I hate it. Between this and the connectivity issues constantly I will be changing brand when my charge 5 dies. Deffo losing a customer here fitbit

No,  I have premium and I can no longer customize either

Good to know let's hope fitbit takes notice of the feedback.

Hate the latest update! Everyone is mad about the change to the battery status, me included, and maps aren't showing street names or locations anymore.  How   can I possibly walk a past route if I can't identify it by the streets??  Right now my battery status for my Charge 5 is showing as full in the app - Android - but says 76% on the tracker.  I hope Fitbit is paying attention to all the complaints in the community because there's a LOT of unhappy people out there, and quite a few saying they'll be going elsewhere.  I have yet to check other areas of the Android app update for other changes that make absolutely no sense whatsoever.

@SunsetRunner if I look on the Play store and select 'all reviews', filter by 'most recent' they are all from 28th Sept or before, apart from one very generous 3 star one of 1st Oct.

My own from 2nd Oct is not there and surely other users have left reviews in the past 3 days? Can they have control of the reviews?

Best Answer

Very suspicious

@RunKatana that's exactly what I see- and it was the same yesterday.  Under my own name it acknowledges that I left a review on 2nd Oct but that review is not visible on the app page.  I assume they have had many, many reviews over the last few days so where are they?!

???

This was a disaster.

You know it.

You aren't going to do anything about it.

That means, this was the pan all along.  You want to just end Fitbit and move on to google watch.  Rest assured, now, I will never buy a google watch.  When this Fitbit dies, I'll look for a completely different alternative.

Way to alienate your customers!!  Good Job!!
