Hi @LeytherAL,
Have you cleared the Fitbit cache on your phone? Just go into your "Settings" and find "Apps And Notifications". From there, find the "Fitbit" app. Select "Clear Cache" and you should be all set.
What this does is it closes files that were previously opened last time you opened the Fitbit app and deletes them. Every time we open an app, we open files on the phone, which slows down the phone itself and the app. By clearing all these files, you're creating more space on your phone, which will make it run more efficiently.

Thank you for your reply, did everything as you said but still it wouldn't open sleep app on phone, sorted now, it seemed as though the phone was somehow set up to another type of fitbit, so it wasn't recognising anything
