Hello!

I recently got a Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. I am not able to find the Fitbit App in the Google Play store. Is it not available for this phone? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

@Huskymom04 @AbsolutZeroGI @DoreenxJill Hey everyone! Thanks for reporting this. Sorry, you had some trouble finding the Fitbit app! Looks like this was a temporary issue and it should be resolved now. Please double-check again and let me know if you still can't find the app inside the Google Play store.

Hi, I just purchased a Fitbit Charge 2. I have a Oneplus 3 and it's not listed as compatible, but I read the forum and a lot of people managed to make it work anyway. I cannot even download the app though, I cannot even find it in Google play, I keep getting the message app not found. Can anyone help?

Thanks

A friend just purchased the Galaxy S8 and the link to Google Play Store for the Fitbit app is not working. Cannot find Fitbit app on Google Play Store for his phone. What's up?

Likewise, when I go to Google Play to download it, it says "Sorry! This content is not available in your country, yet. We're working to bring the content you love to more countries as quickly as possible. Please check back again soon."

I live in the US, that's total nonsense.

Mine said the same thing but on my browser I went on the fitbit site and on the top I clicked on App and dashboard then I clicked on App Tour and then download now! Try that my phone wouldn't find it any other way

Strangely, I just looked on the Google Play Store, and cannot find the app either.  I know it was there a few days when I downloaded an update.  I expect it is just a temporary glitch with the Play Store. I suggest keep looking occasionally before panicking.

I just looked on the Android board and see others reporting the same issue. So, at least for now, it is not the fault with your phone.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

As of now, I can see the Fitbit app for android on the the Google Play store and AppBrain (July 11 release).

A few times when switching phones, apps disappeared from Play because my new phone wasn't compatible with them. I assumed this was to stop people from possibly hosing their phones installing incompatible apps.

Nope, still not there.

Thank you for looking this up for me and telling me I was not alone in this! 🙂 It is fixed now, but it did make me panic a little

@anyela Thanks for stopping by! There was an issue yesterday in which the app didn't show on the Play store but this has been resolved so you should be able to find and download the app to your phone. As you said the One Plus 3 isn't listed as compatible but I have participated in some threads in which many members where able to setup and sync their trackers so give it a try and let me know.

I look forward to your reply.

The easiest way to find tge Fitbit app for the device that you want to use, is by going to http://www.fitbit.com/setup through the same device. This page will detect the device that is being used and offer a link to the proper app. In this case it wiill have a link titled "Go to the Google Play Store"
